Symptoms or Error
Inconsistent results when syncing changes from Active Directory. This includes changes in Active Directory not appearing in App Controller, delays making changes to domain users in App Controller, and outages where only some users are recognized from the domain.
Solution
To resolve this issue install patch 48 and remove any load balancer between the App Controller and the LDAP server.
Problem Cause
The issue seems to be with the group name which contain "DC" characters. There are around 2000 groups in the domain with "DC" in the name. This issue is seen only in full sync path. Any modifications on the groups would reflect the user-group memberships in the subsequent delta sync.
