Symptoms or Error
The app URLs defined in MDX settings are not functioning as expected.
Solution
The following are the changes for the MDX settings related to App URL schemes.
* Approve: App URL schemes: example_URL: Allowed URLs: (no change) * WorxWeb: App URL schemes: (no change) Allowed URLs: +^example_URL:
Problem Cause
iOS version 9 has broken how you previously implementing AppURLs in MDX. The fix required a code change to WorxWeb. This fix is covered in #0586244.
If you intend to open a URL, call [[UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:] without checking canOpenURL:
If you want to check whether it opened successfully or not, check the boolean return value of openURL: rather than checking canOpenURL:
And if you really need to check canOpenURL: you have to add those to a whitelist in the Info.plist as described in the documentation of canOpenURL:
